c. 1966 Medalta Redcliff, Alberta Yellow with Brown Trim Stoneware Pottery Mug Set of 5
Short lived Redcliff Alberta Medalta pottery mugs. Medalta Potteries Limited closed in 1954 and the factory was destroyed by fire in 1959. In 1966 former employees tried to revive the pottery in RedCliff Alberta next to Medicine Hat Alberta where Medalta was originaly located but it closed shortly after opening. Very few Redcliff Medalta pieces exist due to the short period they were produced.
All mugs have no chips or cracks but they all have crazing (crackling in the glaze).
