Terms of Service, Shipping, & Fulfillment Policies

Welcome to Treasure Valley Antiques & Collectibles. By placing an order with us, you agree to the following shipping, fulfillment, and product policies.

Shipping, Dispatch, & Order Tracking

Fulfillment Timeline: Items are typically prepared and dispatched within 1–3 business days after payment clearance. Please note that this processing window represents the time required to securely pack your item before dispatch, not the final transit or delivery duration.
Operating Hours: We process and ship orders Monday through Friday. We do not dispatch orders on weekends or statutory holidays.
Address Accuracy Requirement: Buyers are entirely responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping information at checkout. We ask that you thoroughly verify the recipient’s full name, street address, apartment/unit numbers, city, state/province, postal/ZIP code, and destination country prior to completing your purchase.
Correcting an Address Error: Please review your Shopify order confirmation email immediately. If you detect an error, contact us immediately at treasurevalleyantiques@gmail.com with your order number and the correct address. We can only apply corrections if the package has not yet left our facility.
Delivery Failures & Lost Packages: Incomplete or incorrect address information can result in severe transit delays, failed delivery attempts, or return-to-sender actions. Treasure Valley Antiques & Collectibles is not financially liable for buyer address errors. Packages that are undeliverable, unclaimed, or lost due to incorrect details provided at checkout do not qualify for a refund.
International Shipping Constraints: For international orders (including shipments to the United States, the United Kingdom, etc.), local postal carriers frequently abandon packages if delivery cannot be completed. Because these items are not returned to our inventory, abandoned international shipments are completely non-refundable.

Import Duties, Customs, & Tariffs

International shipments may be subject to customs clearance fees, import duties, or local taxes imposed by the destination country. These cross-border fees are determined exclusively by local authorities and are the sole financial responsibility of the buyer.
We strongly advise international clients to consult their local customs authority regarding potential import regulations and associated fees prior to finalizing a purchase. Please note that customs inspections may occasionally affect transit times.

Local Collection (Abbotsford, BC)

We are pleased to offer local pickup at our Abbotsford location by appointment only.
To arrange a pickup, choose the Local Pickup option at your Shopify checkout. Once your order is complete, please contact us with your preferred collection time. You can coordinate this with us through our website's contact form, Facebook Messenger, Twitter, or Facebook.

Order Cancellations & Inventory Adjustments

On rare occasions, an order may need to be cancelled due to a simultaneous in-person sale, an inadvertent cataloguing error, risk analysis, localized shipping restrictions to your destination, or unforeseen logistics issues.
If we are unable to fulfill an item in your Shopify order, we will contact you immediately, cancel the affected portion of the transaction, and issue a full refund to your original payment method.

Product Descriptions, Authenticity, & Condition

Antique & Second-Hand Nature: Every piece in our collection is a curated, second-hand antique or vintage collectible. Because we source our inventory through estate acquisitions and private pickings, all items are sold strictly as-is.
Curation & Research: We describe our inventory as accurately as possible based on our professional inspection, historical research, and current knowledge. Details regarding age, manufacturer, origin, and provenance reflect our best assessment but may occasionally be subject to interpretation or correction.
Condition Review & Inquiries: Due to the age of estate items, varying degrees of vintage wear, aging, or historic repairs are to be expected. We ask that you carefully examine all high-resolution photographs and written descriptions. If a specific dimension, maker's mark, or condition detail is critical to your purchasing decision, please contact us for additional images or clarification before placing your order.

System & Pricing Modifications

In the event of a technical system error that incorrectly calculates a product price, shipping fee, or order total, we reserve the right to pause fulfillment.
We will contact you to explain the technical discrepancy and outline the corrected total. We will never and cannot apply an extra charge without your explicit confirmation. If you choose not to proceed with the corrected rate, we will cancel the transaction and issue a full refund.

Return Policy

ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Due to the unique and irreplaceable nature of antique and collectible inventory, we enforce a strict no returns, no exchanges policy.
Any minor exception to this policy is evaluated entirely at the management's discretion. If a return is authorized under exceptional circumstances, the buyer is solely responsible for arranging and paying for secure, tracked return shipping back to our facility. The product also had to arrive back to us in the same condition they it was sent in.
