Beautiful antique piece of Pink Lustreware from early 19th century England. No chips or cracks or crazing, excellent condition. An "A" is impressed on the base.

The poem is "Sailor's Fairwell" and it goes as follows:

"Sweet, Oh Sweet is that Sensation

Where two hearts in union meet.

But the pain of separation

Mingles bitter with the Sweet."
